The launch of Hearts of Three Kings: The Story of Glops, Book 8 was a great success. For a week or longer, both the paperback and the eBook were in the Top 100 at Amazon in two separate categories: 1. Children's Christian People and Places Fiction, and 2. Children's Christian Historical Fiction. Hooray!!! Thank you for your support! They may have continued to rate highly, but I went on a fun trip and could not check the rankings. Oh, well. The trip was fun and I was happy to spend some time with daughter, Elayne, and her husband, Don.
I was asked if I would like to present a program for "Fellowship Through Reading" at First Baptist Church, Amarillo. Of course! Are you kidding? Yes, of course! This is such an honor! On Monday morning, I will have about thirty minutes to talk about the books I have written and continue to write. I anxiously look forward to this wonderful privilege. Words can not express how grateful we are for your expressions of love as we continue to mourn the loss of our grandson, Dustin McKinney. He was twenty-one and died on March 22. We received phone calls, messages, texts, notes, cards, flowers, plants, hugs, and saw your attendance at his Celebration of Life. You prayed with us and for us. Everywhere we turned, you were there offering your love. We are truly blessed by you.
Thank you!
Hearts of Three Kings: The Story of Glops, Book 7 is at #108 in Children's Christian People and Places Fiction on Amazon. I hope it gets into the top 100. I'm watching to see what happens.
This coming Tuesday, April 12, is the Launch Date for Hearts of Three Kings: The Story of Glops, Book 7Spread the word! Let everyone know that another book is ready to be read!
Both the paperback and the eBook will be available on Tuesday. After you read the eBook or paperback, please leave a review on your favorite online store, such as Amazon.com, Goodreads.com, or IndieBound.org. I will begin working on the Audible audiobook soon. In the meantime: For fun, look at the photos on either side of the book cover below. What do the photos represent? Who do they represent? No eBook yet for |
This book is an Outstanding Resource for Veteran or Novice Players and is now available in paperback at Amazon. I will continue working on an eBook version. (I'm not willing to "throw in the towel," just yet.) This completely revised and improved edition with more songs than ever is an excellent resource for veteran or novice rhythm guitar players. |
Included inside:
- information about guitars
- crash course in reading music
- scales, keys, chords, and Circle of Fifths
- finger-position pictures in color
- tablatures for twenty-eight guitar chords
- 138 folk songs, children’s songs, and favorites, in:
- seven 1-chord songs,
- fifty-two 2-chord songs,
- seventy-nine 3-chord songs,
- with alphabetical indexes of songs, their keys and chords
Our grandson, Dustin Paul McKinney went to be with Jesus on March 22.
Dustin Paul McKinney passed away at the age of 21 on Tuesday, March 22, in Borger. He was an avid gamer and an employee of Pac & Mail Mailing Center. He loved being with his friends. He graduated from Frank Phillips College in 2020, and from Borger ISD in 2018 where he was on the Honor Roll. He was cremated, and the Celebration of Life was held Monday, March 28. The chapel service was crowded with people who loved Dustin and members of the family. |
. . . of mice and men often go awry.
I had Guitars & Folk Songs: An Anthology ready to upload the book into Amazon and the eBook into Kindle. When I began the process, my Microsoft xlsx files for the Table of Contents and Indexes would not convert. So I took all the information out of xlsx and put them directly into my docx files. Guess what. The spacing for text and photos were all wrong. What a mess!
All that really means is that I will not have the book or ebook available for awhile yet. I'll keep working on them, and I'll let you know when I successfully have them ready for you.
The paperback will be ready for purchase that same day. I'm extremely excited, . . .
. . . but That's Not All
I will have both the new eBook and new paperback ready for you at Amazon on Tuesday.
May God bless you and yours,
